Dozens of much-needed new homes in one of the most sustainable new developments seen in south London for years are now taking shape above the junction of Kennington Lane and Newington Butts on behalf of Dolphin Living.
A total of 73 units are being built with Carey London’s skilled teams creating the project’s distinctive five-to-six storey frame in a constrained site near existing homes. Working in such close proximity to a busy road junction, and with residential neighbours nearby, demands responsive and caring community relations. Carey London’s project team works closely with main contractor Allenbuild Ltd to ensure residents needs are met promptly and site disruption is kept to a minimum.
The result for the community will be a vital new asset bringing 66 new one and two-bedroom homes and a handful of much larger 3-4 bedroom properties for families keen to find homes so close to central London. As well as the sustainable living credentials which come with the project, there will be new retail space at ground level and a rooftop garden for residents to enjoy the London skyline.
